Kate's fundraiser for Chailey Heritage Foundation

English Channel Swim
This July, my 5 incredible friends and I will be taking on the challenge of swimming the English Channel to raise money for charity! We will be swimming 21miles from Dover to Calais braving the cold, jellyfish and huge shipping boats - all without wetsuits!! Our swim is set to take place during a 10-day window between July 1st and 10th. This will undoubtedly be the most demanding yet rewarding challenge I have ever done and I'm doing it all for a great cause.
I have chosen to support the Chailey Heritage Foundation as I have experienced first hand the incredible work they do in supporting children and young people with complex neurodisabilities. Chailey Heritage Foundation provides essential education, care services and support for children and young adults, as well as supporting their families. They aim to give disabled children and young people every opportunity to pursue their fullest potential, despite their disadvantage and challenges in life. Throughout my childhood, the Chailey Heritage Foundation gave me and my family invaluable support and I am beyond grateful for that. I am glad to be raising money for this incredible foundation, ensuring that even more children and families can benefit from the life-changing services they provide.
