Hi all,

I have agreed to abseil from Lloyd's Building on the 10 July 2025 to raise money for charity in memory of an employee of Acrisure called Ian Wicks.

Tragically, in April 2024, Ian, aged 66, suffered a fatal brain aneurysm whilst practicing at the golf driving range. Whilst we cannot bring him back, we can ensure his memory lives on and in his honour Acrisure London has committed to supporting Brain Research UK as its Charity of the Year 2025 to raise funds for vital brain health research.

I sadly didn't get the chance to meet Ian, however from what I have heard he was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

Brain Research UK are the leading national funder dedicated to research into neurological conditions. Their vision is a world where everyone with a neurological condition lives better, longer.
