Kate’s fundraiser for PIPS Suicide Prevention

Catherine Miller-Devlin is raising money for PIPS Suicide Prevention
In memory of Nuala

The Famine Way 50 miler · 1 August 2026

PIPS Charity supports people across NI, with offices in Belfast, Derry/Londonderry & Enniskillen. With a vision of a society free from suicide, we offer a crisis walk-in service (Belfast) - ensuring help is there when needed most. We are not affiliated or associated with PIPS Hope and Support.

Story

On 21st April 2025 I lost my beautiful sister Nuala (NuNu) when she took her own life. As a very close family this came as a massive shock to us all.

I would like to help PIPS to raise awareness around suicide and help others who are struggling. We need to be more aware of and recognise the signs that people are not ok and provide them with the support they need.

On 1st August 2026, I have signed up for a 50 mile ultra run, which I believe is going to be extremely challenging. In doing so, I hope to raise money for this amazing charity who are doing incredible work.

I would appreciate any help you can give to this cause.
