Story
As many of those close to me know, I’ve always been open about my fertility struggles and the loss we’ve experienced. I truly believe that infertility, miscarriage, and baby loss should not be taboo topics. When we went through our loss, I felt incredibly alone. But once I began sharing what we were facing and how I was feeling, others started to open up too—many confiding that they had also experienced loss, whether through miscarriage, late-term loss, or a baby born sleeping. To me, every one of those is the heartbreaking loss of a baby and a loss isn’t just ‘one of those things’.
That’s why Sands is a charity so close to my heart. I previously took part in the Sands One Million Steps Challenge and really enjoyed being involved. Lately, I’ve been looking for another way to support their incredible work—and when I saw the 100km Steps in September challenge, I didn’t hesitate to sign up.
Please consider supporting me in raising funds for this amazing cause. No donation is too small—every penny helps provide support to bereaved families during the most devastating time of their lives. Thank you so much.
