Chestnut Tree House is the children’s hospice for East Sussex, West Sussex, Brighton and Hove and South East Hampshire, caring for 300 children and young adults from 0-19 years of age every year, both at the hospice and in families’ own homes.

Story

I am completing my very first Marathon this April. It is probably the hardest challenge I have ever given myself. It involves a good 20 weeks worth of training, and many weekends given up to prepare my body for a 26.2 mile run. I will be posting milestone updates on my progress here, but you can also follow me on Strava if you want to see more frequent progression! Oh - and if you see me out running - please give me a toot!

My motivation for taking on this challenge is to raise money for this incredible charity.

Chestnut Tree House is a children’s charity providing hospice care and community support for children and young people with life-threatening and life-limiting conditions.

There are hundreds of children and young people in your local community who are unlikely to reach adulthood. And even more parents and family members who need care, help and support on their journey, as they don't know how long they will have together.

Your support helps families to spend time together. Precious moments that give a lifetime of memories.
