In 2023 my mum was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia (CLL). As 2024 marks CLL Support's 20th anniversary, and September is Blood Cancer Awareness Month, I will be aiming to swim a total of 20.5 miles/33km over the month of September (equivalent to the English Channel) to raise money for the charity.
