To mark the 25th Anniversary of the tragic events of September 11, 2001.

Cheshire Fire Service have teamed up with Halton DCLB Rugby Stadium, Widnes who have kindly offered the use if the stadium to complete the 9/11 memorial stair climb.

SATURDAY 19TH SEPTEMBER 2026

EVENT START 10AM

This will be a fundraising event for the Fire Fighters Charity

open to public to come and cheer the teams on

The Challenge is to climb the 110 floors the height of the World Trade Centre

This equates to 2071 steps

2 stands at the stadium are available to complete the challenge

A total of 70 assents is required.

There will be a pause at the time of the first and second planes impact indicated by a siren
