This is my fourth attempt at running London Marathon, having been hit by injury every other time! It will also be my last marathon as parts of me are threatening to fall off 😅

I am running to raise money for Helping Hearts Fylde, a charity very close to my heart. Helping Hearts provide support to homeless and vulnerable people across the Fylde Coast.

I’ve been a volunteer with Helping Hearts for over 2 years, and, during this time, have seen a huge uplift in people needing our help. We provide hot meals, food to take away, and other vital provisions, on a Thursday evening, as well as supporting vulnerable people in other ways throughout the week.

Helping Hearts relies on the generosity and good will of people who are able to give whatever they can, either through monetary - or other - donations. I know times are hard for many, but if anyone can make even the smallest donation towards this fantastic charity, I will put 26.2 torturous miles in my legs by way of thanks! 😁
