What possessed me to sign up for a 100km walk on the hilly Cotswold Way?

Each year I like to have a challenge on the calendar and this is certainly going to be a challenge! At least 24hrs of continuous walking and some of it at night time when I should be tucked up in bed.

What better charity could I be raising funds for but Home-Start Cotswolds. It can be such a struggle being a parent of young children and many of the parents who contact us for help have had to contend with the additional struggles of isolation, poor mental health, low income, physical health issues, relationship breakdown or multiple births. We stand alongside parents and children through difficult times helping them create a positive change for their future.

As I go to the office each week I see the lasting difference that our staff team and volunteers can make to a family’s life. So please support me in my challenge whilst supporting Home-Start to help families in the challenges they face.
