Story

March 2025 would have been Jack's 21st birthday and it seems only fitting that the most epic fundraiser I will EVER do is for Flexicare and Prostate Cancer UK (see https://www.justgiving.com/page/katherine-boyce-2 to donate to Prostate Cancer). Not only did Flexicare support our family whilst he was with us but following his death they supported Andy and I and helped me find a new meaning in life post Jack. Having been a volunteer, Coordinator and Manager of Flexicare, I know just what a difference this tiny charity makes to severely disabled children and young people and their families. The trained Flexicare staff and volunteers give families with disabled children time away from their day-to-day caring activities, enabling them to do the things the rest of us take for granted such as going to the dentist or cinema.
