We successfully completed our 6km swim down the Aune estuary on the 18th July. It was challenging but insanely fun. The surroundings in South Hams were absolutely idyllic and the company was exceptional. Discovering new swimming positions - birthing position, anyone? - falling off the edge of sandbank cliffs and desperately swimming against the current at times before being carried like a log in the rapids for the left kilometre was bonkers.
