On April 12th we will start our Porky Walky Challenge to raise money for the Rogiet Community Junction Community Shop and Cafe Project. At the moment the Rogiet Community Cafe opens every Wednesday 10-12 - a place to come and get a bacon roll, a coffee and some REALLY good cake. But it is also so much more than just a cuppa and a bacon roll. It is a place to meet people, to help reduce isolation, to empower people through volunteering, a place where lifelong friendships are formed. So on March 5th the good people of the Rogiet Community Cafe bought 64 bacon rolls which means we will walk 64 miles along the Wales Coast Path - that is St Donats to Rogiet - and why it's called the Porky Walky! So please support us in this. Your donation will be going to help our community continue to grow, to thrive and to be a welcoming place to everyone, whatever circumstances they find themselves in.
