With blood cancer being the most common cancer in children and the 5th most common cancer in the UK for adults, yet the 3rd biggest killer. A terrifying 41,000 people are diagnosed with it every year, with a survival rate of 70%.

I decided my charity venture this year would be in aid of a charity that seeks to help those affected. Anthony Nolan connects those who require stem cell transplants with generous strangers on the stem cell register, and in turn, save their lives! On average, Anthony Nolan save 4 lives every single day!

On the 16th of March, I will be participating in a boxing match in order to raise funds for the charity. I have never boxed before and so am probably setting myself up to get knocked out, so please make my pain worthwhile, aha! I will be attending 2 training sessions a week in a hope to prepare myself in one way or another for the fight. I have only given myself 8 weeks to prepare for this, and have already fallen ill on week 1 so let’s see how this turns out…
