Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Ella in Swans class and her sister Ava in Puffins class are raising money for Diabetes UK on Friday, 13th June, during Diabetes Awareness Week.
Ella has been living with Type 1 Diabetes for nearly four years, after being diagnosed just 10 days before starting her very first day of school.
Type 1 Diabetes is a lifelong condition that requires constant monitoring and can lead to serious complications.
From regular insulin pump and sensor changes—which Ella often finds upsetting—to injections and finger-prick checks, through to managing high and low blood sugar levels at any time of day or night, Ella faces many challenges. Type 1 Diabetes is a condition that requires 24/7 management, every single day. Countless things can affect blood sugar levels, including food, exercise, illness, hormones, stress, and even the weather. Ella also has regular hospital visits, blood tests, and experiences various side effects from fluctuating sugar levels. Despite it all, Ella starts each day with a smile and always gives her best at school.
Please join Ella and Ava on 13th June for Crazy Hair Day to help raise money for Diabetes UK.
The crazier the hairstyle, the better!
Any donation, big or small, is hugely appreciated.
Thank you so much for your support!
