Cycle to all the stops on the Monopoly board · 14 May 2023

SAVE was created in 1975 by a group of journalists, historians, architects, and planners to campaign publicly for endangered historic buildings. For 40 years SAVE has championed the cause of all types of buildings, through press releases, publications, exhibitions, and sustained campaigning.

Story

On 14th May I am going to cycle to every stop on the Monopoly board- 29 miles in total, to raise money for SAVE Britain's Heritage.

SAVE is an organisation that stops property developers from demolishing old buildings by providing reasons why the building still has value, whether it be in the design, historical interest or in the previously sunk carbon emissions. They also provide institutions with alternative proposals which retain more of the historical fabric of our towns and cities while also allowing for our more modern requirements.

Rather than just complain about it on social media, I have decided to try and do something positive to protect the places I know and love, hopefully some of you might feel the same way too.

If you could give any loose change or share my page I would be enormously grateful

Big thanks if you've read this far.

Even more thanks if you feel like donating.

Lastly, do check out SAVE's website where it has more information on all the good things they have been doing.
