In 2025 our lovely Alice was born with a shock congenital heart disease diagnosis. Her first year involved a lot of hospital stays due to low oxygen, medications to help her heart and open heart surgery. Following this she had a battle with post surgical infections and sepsis resulting in a longer PICU stay than imagined. Through all of this crossbasket house in Glasgow provided us with a safe and comforting home away form home so we could be close to support her, and have space to have her older brother visit us away from the intensive care environment.

Crossbasket house is a life saver in the most difficult of times and we are forever grateful. We owe them so much. This is a tiny step towards us helping them out, to keep supporting families, and likely us again for Alice's future surgeries.

Crossbasket House gives families a place to stay while their child is seriously ill in hospital in Glasgow. Children come from all over Scotland and further afield to receive treatment at the children's hospital in Glasgow.
