Story

My brother-in-law Les Young died of cancer in 2023. He was a larger than life character whom we miss everyday in our lives. Watching him struggle with cancer was one of the hardest things I've had to see. It's a horrible disease that hits so many of us and we were grateful of the support from Macmillan charity and that's why I've chosen them as my beneficiary.

As I reach my 60th year I wanted to set myself a physical challenge. As the years go by my strength weakens but I can't give into it. So riding 60 miles everyday for 60 days at 60 seems like a challenge. I am nervous and excited about doing it. I know I will have some really hard days both mentally and physically but knowing I'm doing this for an excellent cause will keep me motivated. So any messages of encouragement will also be welcomed.

If you can spare a few pennies I would really appreciate it.
