A few months ago George had the bright idea of signing us both up for this challenge. All the spaces were taken at the time and we went on the waiting list. At the end of July, George died from meningitis, a week later space for the swim opened up so I took it as a beautiful sign from him and I"m going to give it my best shot for the pair of us. Madly wishing now I'd let him teach me the frontcrawl I hope to be reunited with George's towfloat on the day so he can tag along . We are raising funds for The Borders Water Rescue Team who provide water based search, rescue & recovery service in conjunction with the emergency services. Thank you from both of us xx
