In 1992/3 after 5 years, I left an abusive relationship. The legacy of that period for me and my children lives on.

One in four women will experience domestic abuse at some point in their lifetime and in Scotland over the 10 year period between 2012-2022 62 out of 148 (42%) female homicide victims were killed by a partner or ex-partner.
