I have wanted to tick skydiving off my bucket list for a while and combining it with supporting a cause that I have the privilege to be involved with and witness the value of what they do first hand makes perfect sense.

Dementia has no cure and robs people of their loved ones, not instantly, but slowly over time which is completely heart-breaking and it affects so many families, including my own.

The Dementia Arts Trust is committed to alleviating the pain of this disease for a small amount of time, through art classes that at the very least bring joy but more importantly every now and then a painting or discussion during the class can trigger memories of loved ones or a forgotten experience which is absolutely priceless for the person themselves, family and carers and the teachers.
