Although it is in honor of my sisters, it's actually for my family.At the age of 11 I lost my dad to heart attack. He was just 31 and my mom 29 years old. Mom was left to raise 4 children, including my baby sister who was just 2 months at the time.

As powerful as my mom was, it was a sacrifice to raise us alone. She never remarried and travel was not a priority for her. I lost my mom at age 55 and a few years later my baby sister at age 31 transitioned suddenly just like dad. She on the other hand loved to travel.

My dad had another daughter before marrying my mom. We shared something beautiful. My sister and I could have been twins had she not been born to another mother. I was born June 20th and she a few hours later on June 21st. We were the exact same age. That sister had such a tough life raising her own 8 children. Travel was not part of her life in any way. This year I lost my only other sister at age 58. 

I gave birth in 1985 on November 29th, the very birth date of my mom's birthday. On that date my baby sister who was two months old when daddy transitioned, she left us on November 29th. What are the odds?

I have two brothers and my two children who I am very close with. For my 60th birthday in 2025 I would like to travel to Africa in my parents and sisters honor with my family. I can only do so by raising funds.
