Story
Myself and friends will be joining others on 4th October for The Blackpool Memory Glow Walk for Trinity Hospice and Brian House Children's Hospice 2025 as Team Caroline.
My sister Caroline fell asleep on 18th April 2024 after being diagnosed with secondary breast cancer in the January which was later diagnosed as terminal.
Caroline was everything to her husband Ian, me and our family and as you can appreciate the loss of the youngest of four sisters was devastating to us all.
Caroline was fortunate have her final days in Trinity Hospice under palliative care something that would have been too painful to endure at home for both my sister and close family and close friends. It gave her time to sort her funeral wishes and personnel affairs don't know where she got the strength but she did it bless her. She always liked to organise and that she did.
I donate and sponsor to Trinity Hospice because whether it be the Doctors, Nursing Staff, Admin Staff, the many Volunteers, Bereavement Councillors they are truly all ANGELS. The kindness, care and compassion they showed Caroline I will never forget. It was her wish to finish her journey at Trinity Hospice after 5 long weeks in Hospital.
I know she made the right decision xx
Team Caroline would appreciate any donations however small so other families will have the love and care if ever needed from this wonderful place Trinity Hospice and Brian House Children's Hospice.
Thankyou Kathryn xx
