Story
In June I'm walking the Yorkshire Three Peaks in memory of my wonderful friend, Hannah, who we sadly lost in January.
For my non-Yorkshire friends and family - the Y3P is a little short of a marathon in distance and includes over 5,000ft of ascent (Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough).
Hannah loved the great outdoors, and would probably think of this as just a nice day out so would laugh at me calling this a challenge. But anyone who has seen me hobbling out of a car after a long journey knows that my left hip and my right knee will absolutely hate this.
I met Hannah through working at St Gemma's, and St Gemma's also helped care for her, so I want to support this wonderful place in her memory.
If you can spare a donation, I'll be really grateful - it may be all that makes sure I make it to the end.
Thank you.
