In March 2026 I will be taking on the Chester 10k race, followed by the huge challenge the London Landmarks Half Marathon in April 2026. I will be taking part in both of these events for Neston Community Youth Centre. NCYC is a community centre based in Neston, that offers multiple support services for local people including Hospital Discharge service, local warm hub, Befriending services for older community residents and social groups. The charity is run with the idea of that everyone can live healthy and fulfilled lives as well as accessing services to support further social needs. The community centre relays on grants, donations and volunteers to keep services accessible for the community. Funds raised will go towards keeping the centre running and providing these services for those in needed.

For anyone who knows me, knows that running is a new challenging I have recently taken up. I started my running journey back in May of this year. I have used running as a way of improving my own wellbeing, something the services within the centre supports to improve for those within the community through the access their services. This will be a huge challenge for myself and out of my comfort zone but I am excited to further my running journey while raising funds for a great cause!
