Our vision: A society where every miscarriage is recognised and met with knowledge, compassion, and understanding. Our mission: Our mission is to guide people through pregnancy loss with the information and support they need – for themselves, for their patients, and for society.

Story

In 2018, my husband Mark and I went through the heartbreaking loss of two babies to miscarriage. While we are endlessly grateful to have gone on to welcome our two wonderful children, Lily in 2019 and Oliver in 2021, those losses remain a deeply personal part of our journey.

Miscarriage can be a deeply distressing, lonely, and frightening experience for anyone going through it or supporting a loved one. That is why I am taking on my biggest challenge yet—running the Manchester Marathon on Sunday 18th April 2027—to raise funds for Miscarriage UK.

My running journey began in 2025 after losing 8 stone and needing a new goal. Starting with Couch to 5k, I built up to a 10k, recently completed the Great North Run, and am now pushing forward to 26.2 miles through discipline, lifestyle changes, and the unwavering support of my family.

Miscarriage UK provides vital support and information to anyone affected by miscarriage, ectopic, or molar pregnancy because every loss matters. Miscarriage shouldn't be a taboo subject; by sharing my story and raising awareness, I hope to help other women and families feel more comfortable talking about it openly.

Any support you can offer means the absolute world!
