This year I have chosen to take on the challenge of the Great North Run 2024, a marathon event that brings together individuals from all walks of life to support a cause close to my heart. This year, I have chosen to fundraise for the Co Durham & Darlington NHS FT Charity, an organization dedicated to enhancing patient care and their overall experience.

The funds raised through this campaign will be used to provide new equipment for our orthopaedic ward, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care and support during their recovery journey. By investing in new equipment, we can enable safe mobilization for all patients, helping them regain their strength and independence.
