On Sunday 10th March, Robbie and I are running the Chester 10k for the George Heath foundation.

I haven’t ran since my half marathon last may and Robbie has ran a race since his 10k in 2019 so this will be a challenge for us both, but for a very deserving charity.

Since George died in 2016, in excess of £50,000 has been raised and distributed among local individuals, organisations, and charities.

Ranging from small amounts of seedcorn funding, to support for those who were really struggling the George Heath Foundation has been able to make a difference as a result of the support that our community gave to us when George died.

Our first allocation was a mud kitchen for the local nursery, since then many many allocations have been made among the young and old alike - George was an inclusive kind of guy, and the allocations from his Foundation reflect his wide-ranging care.
