So we have today (17/8/26) done the climb! Would you believe we met a lady at the very top who was from Ukraine and she asked about my Kramatorsk T shirt and she was delighted to know about Nowzad's work in her home country, she also had a little dog that was very like Ewok! How incredible that a lady from Ukraine was there at the very same time as us! We also had a few people on the climb ask about Nowzad and I gave them info and the QR code for our fundraiser. I have now increased the total we are aiming for as we are doing so well and would absolutely love it if we could get to £1000! We are trying to raise funds for the wonderful Nowzad charity. In September Nowzad are doing a Snowdon Climb which we intended to take part in but it is a route that is too steep and long for us so we are doing our own climb up Moel Famau which is not as high and we can cope with. We will then meet with the Nowzad team the night before their Snowdon climb and give them the proceeds of our climb. Please spread the word and donate if you can.
