On 18th April 2026, me & my mum Maxine will be walking 10km at Battersea Park to raise funds for the amazing charity Tommy’s. Tommy's is the UK's largest charity researching causes of pregnancy loss, stillbirth, and premature birth.

On 18th September 2025 at 24 weeks gestation, my beautiful niece Winnie June was born sleeping to my sister Hollie & brother in law Marc. The devastating loss rippled through our family.

We still talk about Winnie daily, with her big brother Noah being one of her biggest fans. He recognises her when he sees feathers, and talks about how he loves her and misses her often.

Winnie was due a couple of months before my own baby Alba, and we get sad about how they should have grown up together and been the best of friends.

Sadly this happens more often than people realise. Half of adults in the UK are affected by pregnancy loss. Over 2500 babies are stillborn each year in the UK, 25% of pregnancies end with miscarriage and 53,000 babies are born prematurely.

We want to complete this walk in Winnie’s memory along with all the other babies who should have been here today, as well as in support of the families who have been affected by pregnancy loss.
