Story

We're Katie & Becca - two staff nurses working on Ward 130 in the Department of Clinical Neurosciences (DCN) in the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, a busy neurosurgical ward where we look after patients with a range of neurological conditions, including lots of people affected by brain tumours of all kinds. Through our jobs we see first-hand how tough the journey can be for patients and their families, but also how strong and resilient they are - which is why this cause means so much to us.

We wanted to do something that pushed us outside our comfort zones while giving something back and supporting a charity that does such incredible work through research, awareness and patient support, so we decided to take on the Edinburgh Marathon in May together🏃‍♀️

We're honestly so proud to be raising money for a cause that means so much to us both - professionally and personally.

Every donation, big or small, really does make a difference and means the world to us. Thank you so much for supporting us💙

Love,

Katie & Becca x
