Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page, where we are starting our fundraising journey for First Touch, a baby charity very close to our hearts.

First Touch are volunteer led and every penny raised will go directly to helping save the lives of sick and premature babies at St George’s Hospital, Tooting - just like our little boy Jasper.

Last year, Jasper was born with Gastroschisis and required life saving surgery just hours after he arrived by emergency c-section. We will be forever grateful for the incredible team of surgeons, doctors, nurses and support teams who not only saved Jaspers life but made our time on the NICU ward that little bit easier.

First Touch is the official charity of St George’s neonatal unit. First Touch funds state-of-the-art equipment and specialist staff training which are outside of the scope of NHS budgets, as well as a range of initiatives to support families during their stay on the unit. Small gifts and gestures provided by First Touch, who were total strangers at the time, like our Spot’s First Easter book, handmade premie hat, a memory box and incredibly intricate, beautifully knitted blanket made us feel cared for, supported and very grateful.

We hope to give back to this incredible charity and are starting small with a London 10k to raise awareness of First Touch and vital funds for their ongoing work. We’re aiming for £700 and Sky will also match fund £300.
