Story

We are excited to participate in the "Walk 31 Miles in May 2025" challenge to support families facing the challenges of dementia.

Dementia affects not just those diagnosed, but also their loved ones who often feel overwhelmed and uncertain. Your donation, whether big or small, can truly make a difference. Just £8 can cover the telephone costs for two families seeking support through Dementia UK's free Helpline.

Imagine the impact of £33, which could fund a new dementia specialist Admiral Nurse to spend an hour helping a family in the community. These nurses offer practical solutions and emotional support, guiding families through difficult times as they cope with their loved one’s behavior.

Dementia UK is dedicated to providing life-changing care through our Admiral Nurses, who specialize in all forms of dementia, including Alzheimer's disease. They empower individuals with dementia to maintain their independence for longer while supporting caregivers so they can find strength on tough days and joy on better ones. Our nurses have the time to listen and the expertise to help solve problems, enabling families to regain control during challenging moments.

We invite you to join us in this important cause by donating today. Together, we can ensure that no family has to face dementia alone. Thank you for your support!
