Story
We’re taking on a huge challenge – a 20-mile walk along Hadrian’s Wall for Marie Curie – in memory of those we have loved and lost.
As a team –Vikki, Ellen and Katie – we are walking not just for the miles, but for the memories, the moments, and the people who remain in our hearts every day.
Marie Curie is an incredible charity that provides free end-of-life care and support to people living with terminal illness and their families, helping them through the most difficult time in their lives with dignity, comfort and compassion. [mariecurie.org.uk]
Every step we take is for those who needed that care, those who received it, and those who deserved it.
💛 Why it matters:
Marie Curie nurses provide vital care in people’s homes and hospices
They support families emotionally and practically during the hardest moments
They ensure no one has to face the end of life alone [justgiving.com]
💛 Why we’re doing this:
This walk is deeply personal. We’re walking in memory of loved ones we’ve lost – people who shaped us, supported us, and will always be part of who we are.
💛 How you can help:
Any donation, no matter how small, will make a real difference:
It can help fund nursing care
Offer comfort to families
Give someone dignity at the end of their life
Please support us if you can – and help us turn every mile into meaningful care for others.
