Paddy and I are running the Hackney Half Marathon for War Child on May 17th - the charity I’ve been lucky enough to work at for the past year.

Right now, 1 in 5 children around the world are living through conflict. That’s 520 million children.💔

War Child is driven by a single goal: ensuring a safe future for every child living through war. 🩵

Through emergency mental health support, education and child protection, War Child stands up for the rights of children in some of the hardest places on earth. 🌍

During war, children suffer severe psychological trauma, lose access to school, and often become vulnerable to separation from their families and caregivers.🫶

War Child gets there as early as possible when conflict breaks out - and stays long after the cameras have gone home. Its teams on the ground across the Middle East, Africa, Ukraine and Afghanistan are completely incredible. 🌟

One child caught up in conflict is one child too many.

My goal is to raise £1500 (hopefully more!) to help War Child be there for children who need them most, when they need them most. Any amount would mean the world - thank you so much. ❤️
