Story

Hi Everyone.

Last December, the unthinkable happened and our family lost Ryan. Ryan died suddenly at the age of 34. He was fit and healthy, a serving fireman and an avid rugby fan and player, but had undiagnosed heart disease.

His amazing wife, children, parents and sisters should never have had to face this tragedy.

Running the London Marathon has always been on my bucket list, but I never thought I would be able to do it. I’m nearly 43, and rather fond of curry and wine! But I am also stubborn and determined. My running won’t bring Ryan back, but it will hopefully raise awareness, vital funds and lifesaving research.

I cannot thank you enough for reading this. Please could I ask for you to share my story, and donate what you can for this truly worthwhile cause.
