Story
My wonderful husband and amazing Dad to Henry and Millie passed away on 29th August 2024 after being diagnosed with a Stage 4 Brain Tumour just 13 week before. The last 2 1/2 weeks of his life was spent at Sue Ryder Hospice in Moggerhanger.
If I’m honest I don’t actually know what I would have done without them. I was physically and mentally struggling at home caring for Rob along with Henry and Millie. His needs were so great I had to call for help and Sue Ryder came to our rescue.
The care he received was exceptional. Every member of the team was attentive, gentle, kind and respectful. Nothing was too much trouble and they were always there to listen. Robs sister, brother and I (Tina & Peter) spent day and night with Rob at his side and the support we received from the team was amazing.
A few months ago I again reached out to Sue Ryder to ask for some much needed bereavement counselling. I’ve just completed my final session and I’m so grateful for all the support and guidance they’ve given me during these emotional get together.
Robs family and friends want to help raise vital funds for this amazing charity. So please dig deep and help those who will need this special care in the future.
Much love
