I’m running the London Marathon on Sunday 26th April 2026 to raise money for the Hospital Out of Hours (HOOH) team through the Derby & Burton Hospitals Charity—supporting a vital service at the Royal Derby Hospital (RDH)

The HOOH team is made up of dedicated doctors, Advanced Clinical Practitioners, and Night Support Workers who work tirelessly overnight to care for acutely unwell inpatients and cover a large area of RDH. We are the frontline when most others are asleep—responding rapidly to deteriorating patients and supporting ward staff through the most critical hours.

Our work is demanding, urgent, and essential to patient safety. Donations will directly help provide the tools, equipment, resources and support our team needs to deliver the highest standard of care through the night.
