As many of you know, I care for my wonderful Nan, Sheila, who is 93 years young. Over the past few years, her life has been profoundly impacted by her dementia and Alzheimer’s diagnosis. Living with such a cruel and unforgiving condition is challenging not only for Nan, but also for us as her caregivers. In light of this, we want to show our support for Dementia UK, in the hope of a brighter future for the generations to come

Dementia is the UKs biggest killer. Someone develops it every three minutes and currently there is no cure. We know it is scary but we must confront the biggest health & social care challenge of our time. We owe it to the 1 million people across the UK currently living with dementia to campaign for change, whilst providing vital day-to-day support. By taking part and raising money, or donating to someone who is, you are helping to do this.
