Story
I'm raising money for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance by sky diving out of a plane at 10,000ft in memory of my Dad, David Elks.
On the 3rd of May 2014, our lives changed forever. We lost my wonderful Dad in a tragic accident which left us all heartbroken.
He was kind, gentle and caring and was very well known in York for having his own business David Elks Windows.
It would have been his 60th birthday in April and with the 10th anniversary of his death fast approaching, I thought now was the time to give back to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance. If it wasn't for the wonderful team of doctors, paramedics and family we wouldn't have been able to spend our last moments as a family with him saying our goodbyes. He is truly missed by us all every single day and not a day goes by where I don't think of him.
It is the continued support and generosity of corporate fundraisers, community groups, event fundraisers, grants, trusts, organisations, and regular donors which helps keep both of our air ambulance helicopters flying over Yorkshire.
By supporting Yorkshire Air Ambulance, you are helping us to save more lives across the county.
