Story

On 12th September 2026, I will be taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks SES Charity Challenge, a demanding walk that pushes both body and spirit. Having completed this challenge last year—and despite my initial vow never to do it again—I am thrilled to support the Scientific Exploration Society (SES) once more. Last year’s experience introduced me to incredible young people whose lives have been transformed by SES, opening my eyes to the profound impact this charity has on individuals and our environment.

The Scientific Exploration Society is a beacon of hope in today’s world, providing crucial grants and mentorship for pioneering expeditions focused on climate change, environmental protection, and wildlife conservation. Their work empowers passionate explorers to conduct meaningful fieldwork that educates and drives real change. One of their standout initiatives is the SES Raleigh Explorer Award, which offers young people from less advantaged backgrounds a life-changing opportunity to discover their potential and make a difference.

I am committed to raising £300 to support SES’s vital mission. Your generous contribution will help fund groundbreaking expeditions and nurture the next generation of environmental leaders. Together, we can champion exploration that safeguards our planet’s future. Please join me in supporting this extraordinary cause.
