I’m planning to challenge myself to walk with my walking frame 3.5km around my local Greenway which is a fantastic flat and level surface in a peaceful area in Monton.

I have cerebral palsy quadriplegic which can make getting around difficult and I do require support with various daily activities this can be very frustrating at times as my body doesn’t always do what I want it too!

I’ve decided to raise funds for the Newman’s Trust as this charity gave me the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful holiday with them myself when I was younger. The volunteers went above and beyond by supporting me so well, my experiences that week have had such a positive effect with lasting happy memories that I’d like to raise money so another child can enjoy the experience I did.

I have recently been to volunteer for a day on one of the holidays which was amazing to go and give something back !

The Newman Trust slogan is changing Lives and they have definitely changed my life.
