This year, I’m taking on a personal and physical challenge: 7 official half marathons in 7 months, starting in June and finishing in December.

I’m doing this to challenge myself but also to raise money for Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust (LSCFT), where I'm proud to work.

Since 1948, the NHS has been there for people through every stage of life. As it turns 77 in 2025, I wanted to do something to celebrate the work it continues to do today — especially the incredible care, support and commitment I see every day at LSCFT.

Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust Charity is dedicated to enhancing healthcare experiences for patients, carers, families, and communities across the region. With a focus on improving the patient experience, reducing health inequalities, breaking the stigma around mental health, and ensuring the best possible care for all across our mental and physical healthcare, the charity goes above and beyond to create meaningful change.

With your support, the charity can fund projects that create healing environments, welcoming spaces, and enhanced wellbeing initiatives for both patients and staff. Your generosity helps provide essential equipment and resources, improves healthcare experiences, and supports research and innovation to shape the treatments of tomorrow.
