My husband Ash was diagnosed with bowel cancer back in November 2022, in February 2023 we were told that his cancer had metastasised and was in his liver.

Unfortunately no amount of chemo therapy made a difference and his cancer continued to spread around his body.

In his final weeks he was looked after by the wonderful St Wilfrids nursing and home care teams. The level of care and respect that they displayed to Ash and all of our family was incredible.

I truly cannot thank the team enough for making a heartbreaking time a little bit more bearable.
