Story
Thank you
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page; I am super excited to be embarking on some more challenging ultra running events and through your sponsorship to be raising funds to support veterans through the incredible 'Supporting Wounded Veterans' charity.
My Challenges
Update for 2026: January will see me tackle 268 miles of the Pennine Way in the Montane Winter Spine Race and May will find me in the Peruvian Jungle for a 230km adventure through the rainforests completing the Beyond the Ultimate Global Race Series!!!!
Please wish me luck and donate if you can 🙏🙏🙏
2025: First I will be aiming to run 108 miles non-stop along the Pennine Way in January, 230km in a staged event across Swedish Lapland in February, another 230km through the Tian Shan mountains in July 2025 and finally another 230km through the Peruvian jungle in May 2026..
For those who know me well, you will know that I am more a fan of hot deserts and sunshine when it comes to ultra running so the extreme cold will be a significant challenge, as will the altitude and creepy crawlies of the jungle!

The Reason Why
The cold theme links well with one of the amazing events that 'Supporting Wounded Veterans' provides each year - Skihabilitation; an event that brings groups of veterans together into a challenging environment to benefit their health, motivation and sense of wellbeing. In 2025 I will be accompanying the veterans participating, as a volunteer 'buddy'.
On their return home, veterans are supported by a mentor and the SWV employment, training and occupation team to consider and plan their professional and personal goals outside of military life.
Supporting Wounded Veterans provides six comprehensive pathways including sporting events, mentoring, pain management and employment to enable former UK servicemen and women, physically or mentally wounded, to move forward from rehabilitation to employment.
