In November I'll be taking on the challenge of trekking the Sahara in support of Overgate Hospice! Overgate Hospice provides expert care, support, advice and information for patients and their families, carers and loved ones. Overgate have personally helped my family through providing outstanding respite care for my Mum as she battles with Huntingtons Disease - giving my Dad a well deserved rest, safe in the knowledge that she is being well looked after.

Living with a life-limiting illness can affect a person in many ways. We will work in partnership with the patient to provide the care and support depending on their individual needs. All of our medical and nursing care is provided by a highly qualified and skilled team who will work with the patient to ensure they receive a high standard of care.

All our services are free of charge and are available to people living in the Calderdale area who are over 18 years old.

We know we cannot add days to life but we can add life to the days of our patients, making the most of the time they have left.
