My family and I are raising money for the fantastic St Peter and St James hospice after the care they gave my mum back in January 2025 before she sadly passed away after battling a long illness of breast cancer and secondary breast cancer. Although mums stay at St P&J was short, they made a massive impact that didn’t just touch mum who directly needed them but also us as her family and still continue to. Elaine Duncan was a fighter and determined and this is why we have chosen the Shine Bright Walk 2025 to fundraise for this charity as Elaine herself completed this walk in 2024 for her own mum just 3 months before she passed. That just shows what type of person my mum was. We miss you more than you could ever imagine mum❤️

St Peter & St James Hospice only receives 13% of funding from central government and relies on support like yours to help raise £6 million annually to provide its vital services to those who need us in the local community with a life-limiting illness and those close to them.
