We decided to raise money for Spurgeons by running the TCS Amsterdam Marathon on the 15th October 2023. Spurgeons run various different projects and services which aid vulnerable children across the country, from family centres to prison-based support. With the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to live a happy and hope-filled life, the work they do can be life-changing.

Neither of us have ever run long distances and when starting training, we were proud to have completed a 5k! It has been a long training process to get ready for the big day, with injuries and illnesses getting in the way. With less than a month to go, our training is back on track with a tough month ahead of us! We are very much looking forward to the big day, and I couldn't think of anyone better to be doing it with than my brother!
