We’re the only charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. That’s why we help children who’ve been abused to rebuild their lives, we protect children at risk, and we find the best ways of preventing child abuse from ever happening.

Story

🏃‍♀️ I’m running the London Marathon 2026 for the NSPCC! 💚

In April 2026, I’ll be taking on the London Marathon, a huge physical and mental challenge to raise funds for the NSPCC.

As a Health Visitor, I see firsthand the incredible impact the NSPCC has on safeguarding and protecting children. The resources, support, and guidance they provide truly make a difference, not just to the children they work with, but to professionals like me who rely on their expertise. The NSPCC’s work helps us deliver better outcomes, intervene earlier, and keep children safer.

Those who know me personally know how hard I’ve worked to get where I am today. I became a nurse with the goal of one day becoming a health visitor. I am deeply passionate about safeguarding, and I believe every child deserves to grow up feeling safe, supported, and heard.

I’ve committed to raising £2,200 to support the NSPCC’s life-changing work, and I’d be so grateful for your help to reach that goal.

Running the London Marathon also has a huge personal meaning for me. My 7-year-old daughter has told me for the past two years that she wants to be a professional runner and dreams of running a marathon one day. We run together, and this journey is about more than just crossing the finish line; it’s about being a role model to her and all children. I want to show her that with determination and heart, we can do hard things. That we are strong, we are resilient, we can push ourselves, and that we can give back while doing it. 🫶🏻

I’ll be sharing my marathon training progress, updates and milestones on Instagram and Just Giving and would love for you to follow along. Sorry, not sorry, marathon training will now be my entire personality.

How can you help?

👉 Every donation, big or small, helps get me closer to that finish line and supports the NSPCC’s critical work.

👉 If you can’t donate right now, a follow, share, or encouragement would mean the world and might just power me through when I’m questioning my life choices.

Thank you 💚🏃‍♀️
