Hi! I’m Katie. In August 2023 I will be swimming the length of Windermere (11 miles) to raise money for the Brathay Trust.

I started working for Brathay Trust in October 2022 as a Project Worker based in Kendal, working with children and young people on both an individual and group basis. I have seen first hand the impact that Brathay has on children and young people, giving them new experiences, supporting them through challenging times, and helping them to reach their potential.

By sponsoring me, you will help fund Youth Matters in Kendal, providing support for children and young people in the community.

Post pandemic, we need to promote young people’s right to accessible support and choice. Our charitable work is underpinned by enterprising fundraising and our supporters’ commitment.
