Story
I'm running the London Marathon to raise money for KEMP Hospice.
In 2017, my grandma — who we called "Granny Grumps" — was cared for by KEMP Hospice in her final days. They supported with getting her home from hospital and providing palliative care, so she could be comfortable and around her family. I'll never forget how wonderful and thoughtful the team were, bringing joy and calmness to a sad and overwhelming time.
Based in the heart of the Wyre Forest, where I grew up, KEMP Hospice provides vital free specialist care and support to patients, families and carers facing life-limiting illnesses and bereavement.
Running the marathon, 10 years on, is my way of saying thank you, and raising money so that others can experience the same comfort.
Any donation, big or small, would mean so much. Thank you for your support!
